It’s time to overcome ALL of your fears. Are you game? I hope you say yes, cause your soul sure did. You signed up to be alive at this crazy time and we’re all in this unfolding mystery together. 

The dictionary describes fear as an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. What we always forget when we feel fear, is that most of the time it’s not real, its simply a reflex response due to past trauma. There is a healthy fear of course, like stopping yourself from falling off a cliff or getting burned by fire. What I am referring to here are the perceived fears that run havoc in your life. The ones that keep you up at night and keep you playing small.

All of your fears stem from your thoughts. Where do your thoughts come from? Thoughts work much like broadcast radio stations. You are either sending them out or tuning into them and choosing what you listen to. Your thoughts are NOT who you are, they are merely a frequency. Choose your thoughts carefully or else they’ll run on auto pilot and control your words and actions. Fear in itself, is a trauma response and each one of us will respond differently depending on how we have entrained our brain. For example, one person will get a thrill from jumping out of a plane and another person will be frozen in fear. 

Fear is essentially the feeling of being out of control and in some serious danger. It’s the amygdala in your brain activating a fight or flight response. Consider that most of your fears have been carefully crafted and delivered to you by propaganda techniques in order to control your behaviour and spending. Fear keeps you distracted from the truth of your greatness. 

Knowing how to sit still and pause your thoughts is extremely important for your overall wellbeing. The currency of fear is being distributed in every which way you can imagine, from the wifi in your home, to the entertainment you select, and the items you buy to the people you surround yourself with. We’re all governed by fear and controlled by it all day long. So how can we manage it?

This full moon in Virgo can help you stay grounded and practical in the face of your fears. Consider that what you fear the most is actually hiding your greatest gifts and talents. Fear can be an incredible motivator if you can flip the switch and see it as something to overcome.

When you face your fears and move beyond them you become a powerful luminous creature capable of anything you can imagine. Are you ready to overcome your fears?

I invite you to take a moment to get quiet and reflect on the following questions.

  1. What is it that you fear the most in life right now? 
  2. How is this fear controlling you? How does it control your choices?
  3. What do you do to perpetuate your fears? What do you tell yourself, subscribe to, or reinforce on a regular basis?
  4. What are the proven facts that back up your fears? List all of them out, then ask yourself, is this really a fact? How do you know it’s a fact? 
  5. Where did this fear originate? 
  6. What would it feel like to unsubscribe to your fear channel? Who do you need to stop listening to or interacting with to overcome your fears?
  7. What would your life look like if you didn’t have this fear? How would your life be different than it is today?

This full moon is the perfect time to face the little demons that play havoc with your mind and overcome the obstacles that have you stuck in an array of distractions and gripping fears all day long. The fear porn in the news is at an all time high. There are global fears escalating like mold growing on leftovers in a humid cupboard . Please do yourself a favor and do not subscribe to all the drama!

This is a time to activate your life mission. The full moon in Virgo is accelerating the grounding of our soul wisdom into our body. It’s a time to remember why you were born at this most important time in history. It’s time to ignite your genius and ground your mission and take a stand for your own sanity and well being. Become the person you’ve been waiting for. Focus on the only thing you can control – yourself!

This is a time to stay focused on you and enjoy every moment of your life. Reassess everything in your life that depletes you and find ways to nourish the deepest part of you that is so desperately crying for your attention. Do things that light you up and bring you joy everyday and you will be able to stay grounded and sane through whatever dramas play out around you.
